Midwifery Education and MEAC CEUs
Learn with me! I love teaching what I’ve learned from my 20+ years of experience attending births to help newer midwives transition to independent practice with the knowledge, support and resources that they and their clients deserve!. Currently I offer:
Midwifery Finishing School
Midwifery Finishing School (MFS) MFS was just approved for 9 MEAC contact hours! MFS is a self paced online course. It has a total of 18 hours of lecture on subjects such as miscarriage management, supplements to support our GDM clients, foley balloon catheter insertion for cervical ripening, thyroid management and PMADs (plus way more, obvs) plus loads of client handouts and guidelines for midwives! I made it a point to use this course to fill in the gaps I felt midwifery school and apprenticeships left and have refined this content over the past 2 years to bring you what I believe to be indispensable knowledge for every new-ish midwife and birth worker. If you want to feel more confident as a midwife, give your families the best care possible AND earn 9 CEUs, then Midwifery Finishing School is for you. You have 2 years to finish the course for CEUs but you get lifetime access as long as the course exists. The lectures are all recorded by subject, divided and organized for easier reference. 🙂 Sign up for this incredible resource below.
Thyroid Testing and Management
In this 2+ hour course learn how the thyroid works, learn how it affects pregnancy, how pregnancy affects it, Functional Lab Ranges and accompanying specialized lab interpretation for both thyroid and iron studies (crucial for thyroid function), diet and lifestyle changes to support the thyroid, herbal and supplemental support for the thyroid and who to refer to when someone needs or wants a prescription. This class comes with a cheat sheet for lab interpretation and treatment suggestions. The knowledge here is invaluable for serving our clients who may be experiencing chronic miscarriages, fatigue and PMADs during pregnancy and postpartum. This course is included in MFS but offered as an a la carte class. Click below to sign up!

Vaginal Steam, or hydro-steam therapy is probably the most talked about/ridiculed women’s health treatment out there, but you know what? It works! Happy Periods Hormonal Balancing
Your period is your 5th vital sign, meaning if it’s off, then the symptoms you’re experiencing are messages from your body telling you it needs some attention! Massive cramps and heavy bleeding? Those mean something! You don’t have to dread your period, even if you’ve always had difficulties with it. If you’re struggling with your cycle: maybe you experience a lot of pain, sore breasts or PMS, heavy periods, irregular, short or missing periods, there is a lot we can do to get to the bottom of it and turn it around. I usually start with testing your sex hormones and stress hormones but there is a lot we can do even without labs. Whether you want to test or not, I can make diet, lifestyle and supplement recommendations to get your hormones back to a happy balance. A quick fix for some of those issues is vaginal steaming and I love to incorporate that with clients who are interested. This service can be done remotely, the hormone test is a spit test that I order to be sent to your home.
This service only works for those not on hormonal birth control.
This is not hormone replacement therapy.
